As far as I know they don’t sniff them anymore. My buddy has a catless WRX and he just passed in Washington state with flying colors, no sniffer.... so as long as you don’t have a CEL and not more than 1 readiness code fail (I think they give you one...which is why you can pass with the cel just coded out, as long as nothing else is wrong). With no CEL, you should be fine.....even if they did a visual inspection, with the heat shields in place, you can’t tell the DP is catless.
