Hi all,

I have some questions for wireless charging & Mini Connected App. Please answer if you have experienced any of those situations

1) I can't use Mini Connected App without connecting via USB cable with my iPhone 6 , is it possible to do it via bluetooth ?

2) Wireless chargers use USB cable to charge phone, If I connect my iPhone to the wireless charger, will my phone and car work with Connected App ?

Mini Connected only works when plugging in USB cable to USB port in car. Not through Bluetooth, sadly.

I don't understand your #2, by definition, wireless doesn't require a wire, yet you say you need to plug in phone? (Not wireless)

 

Wireless charging are you referring to QI interface ??

I bought a QI card similar to picture. I have an iPhone 7 plus. I place an iPhone 6 case in holder. QI card under case and slip the QI plug into iphone and it charges iPhone and interfaces as welll. Good luck. Yes don't mind the glitter case. Someone bought dor me as a gift 🤣😲😳

 

I phone 7 plus does not fit in cradle so that's why I put six case in holder and just iPhone 7 over6 case. Close the center console and wah lah it works

can you open any app when you are charging your phone by wireless ?

If you have the wireless charger, you must have the touchscreen navigation, correct?

If so, then most MINI Connected functions should work wirelessly without having to connect to the wireless charger (which just provides power not data). Pandora, Spotify, calendar, and navigation functions will work wirelessly, but some 3rd party apps like Amazon Music, Stitcher, and GoPro need a wired connection to USB.
