So I think I'm going to mod my carbon edition a little...

Here is what I am thinking of doing...

1. Mini LED Driving Lights Retrofit Kit - Black #63122288982 X2



and then...

2. Mini JCW Pro Rear Diffuser Kit W/O PDC #51192339047





What would be the best method of going about this? Order the parts online then take somewhere to install or just go through my Mini dealer? Can anyone suggest a good shop that can install these if I do decide to order online in the Los Angeles area. What are the typical labor costs for installs like this? Thoughts?

 

Does the carbon edition have the JCW bumpers? That is a requirement for the JCW diffuser looking add-on.

 

yeah apparently it doesn't fit the aero kit on the carbon edition.

 

What makes it not fit a F55 JCW rear bumper?

 

Was following a thread on the F56 Uk board. seems even with the JCW appearance kit (which the carbon edition has - I think it has) the JCW Pro pieces doesnae fit. Different bumper profile.

Theres some wide open ordering configurations elsewhere: JCW appearance kit on a single exhaust cooper? yup. Order away. Just no JCW rear diffuser

 

Would it be possible to send me a link to that thread? I’d love to educate myself more on this because in my head, the bumpers look identical lol.
