F55/F56 Hotchkiss vs NM Engineering 53mm swaybar
Hotchkiss vs NM Engineering 53mm swaybar
Hi Everyone,
My dad and I have been having a blast using his F56 for Track Night in America events. We've already gone and done carbotech pads (I think we got the very first set of cooper s xp8s made) and motul rbf 600 fluid. We also just finished off a set of pole position S04 tires and will be making the leap to 16" wheels and sticker tires before the next event. The next move we're planning on making is a 25mm rear sway bar.
I spoke to Jerry at NM and that guy is awesome which makes me favor that option, but the hotchkiss is $100 less. That said the bushing support brackets look crummy compared to the NM. Does anyone have strong opinions one way or the other?
Thanks,
-Ed

If Hotchkis makes a 25.5mm hollow Competition Bar for your model, even if it was $100 more than the NM, it's the best one I have ever used despite what the brackets "may look" like. It's even better than their own 22mm bar.....
Way at Way Motor Works sell them for most models.

The brackets for the NM look "better" because they are bigger, billet aluminum with integral grease fittings. They are what accounts for the price difference. The brackets alone that they make for the 22mm solid cost $129, but are included with the 25mm.
