Looking for a switched Source

Looking for a switch source that turns on and off with the ignition. Most circuits stay active for 15 minutes after the ignition is turned off.
Thinking maybe the A/C...

Any suggestions. I'll piggyback fuse from the fuse box.

Thanks.

green/gray wire on right side below glove box, black 54 pin plug (3B), pin 20. note this is just an accessory sensing wire, not a power wire (ie, you have seperate constant power and ground and this sensing wire is to sense turn-on).

i used this setup for my gauges.

So it would have to sense 12v though. My gauges don't reset properly with sensing wire running to the switched power source for the diming rear view mirror.

yes, 12v.
i only say sensing because my documentation mentions "sensing only" for that wire, but it is officially an ignition wire (w/no 3 minute timer, instant on/off).

i think this is your better choice than the rear-view mirror. i also can't imagine your gauges being any different than mine. mine had 4 wires; power, ground, ignition, parking (nighttime) lights.

Marco. This is great. Thanks for your help. This should probably be in the electrical system but so few visit that area I wanted to post the question here. Thanks!
