Submitted my order with my dealer on December 12th. Took forever for my car to show up so I could register as a MINI Owner. Then after logging in, it showed the wrong color MINI with the wrong options. Had to call customer service to get accurate updates.

Build date was scheduled for Jan 22nd and the status today shows awaiting transport. Yay!!

Anyone have an idea how long it is before it hits the dock in CA?

 

Mine was built November 4 and was at the dealer and ready to go on December 18. Spent almost a week at Southampton port - missed the boat.

Here's a post with great tracking info. BMW ships on the WW line referenced in the post for Western US delivery (port Hueneme). Lots of fun websites to track the ship (free services only show data when ship near shore.) Can check berth reservation and assignment on Port Hueneme website.
