F55/F56 Which Mini should I buy? First time buyer

I called it the cheap man's Mini because here in Israel we have 100% import duty on cars plus 17% VAT. A base Mini One goes for about $35k - manual with NO OPTIONS. A base Cooper is around $45k, add another $15k for an S badge. JCWs start at $65k. We're paying about $5.5 for a gallon of gas. See where I'm coming from....

The First is something else, I think. According to the VIN decoder, my car has a B38U. I'm not very technical. Sorry. All I know it's 1.2 liter, Turbo, 3 cylinder, 102hp, 75kW and 175Nm.
