I've purchased a dash cam and it came with an electrical hookup. Unfortunately, I have no idea where to install it or even how. Was hoping someone could help me with it. I've attached a picture of the hookup. Is there anyway to hook this up to the fuse box? If so, how would one go about doing that. Again, I've never done this before so detailed instructions would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
I'm also interested in how people have hooked up dash cams. If I can butt into this thread a bit, too, I'm interested in any setups showing the most unobtrusive dash cam setup people have (with pictures). I want a dash cam, but I don't want any huge boxes or wires running around my dashboard.
this is sometimes called an "add a circuit" and should run less than $10 at any decent auto part store
it is an easy way to add a low power item to your fuse panel; your device would appear to qualify ... your red wire (hot) connects here. The black wire goes to a ground ... all you really need is a metal screw that goes into metal .... look around near the fuse panel ... they are there ... loosen and attach the ground wire.
There should be a +12 volt power source by the rear view mirror. You should be able to tap into this power. This is similar to what people do for installed radar detectors.

Exactly. Some did a PDF on how to do that do a search.
