F55/F56 Battery being drained while stopped

Battery being drained while stopped
The above popped up along with another note that said the battery was being drained.
"Battery discharging while stopped"
Our Mini is completely stock. No additional Mini electronics.
We do not use the engine off/on green system.
We always click 1 (engine off) 2 (electronics off)
There is nothing plugged in (phones, etc.)
Took it in and the diagnosis is... Re program and a new battery.
What the drain was , was not defined.
Current mileage 6900 mixed.
Anyone else have this symptom?

Short trip for us is 6 miles
Our driving is mixed
Dealer"s diagnosis is re-program and charge battery.
Short trip diagnosis with a 1 year old battery is a MISSed Diagnosis.
These vehicles have a Start/Stop function.
We don't use that function,
but that would be the epitome of short trips.
The R series had many problems with this, but this aberration is
not yet prevalent in the F Series.
We'll see
