2015 Mini CS. 8560 miles later needs new brake pads?

Hey all.
I got this car with 3k miles (sold to me as Brand NEW with extended warranty up to 55K miles) from dealer (driven by manager, not customers, which was stated in papers). So far I put another 5K miles of regular city/highway driving and this popped yesterday. Taking it to dealer next week.

I bet they just need to recalibrate the computer/brake sensors. My Mini showed up as needing new rear brakes and the dealer measured the discs and reset the computer. Same rear brakes at almost 60k miles...

I had that message and it turned out a front brake caliper had locked up after a hard stop. Repair was done under warranty.

See my thread about "How long do brakes last?"

MINI actually replaced my rear brakes/rotors at about 13k miles. Not for any service related message, but for deep grooving on both the rear rotors.

Best to have them take a look though, its probably nothing.

Yep, I would have them all inspected. Also to have re-calibrated, it might be set wrong.
