Shipped on the Ivory Arrow. Expected due date is 09/16. Anybody else have one on this ship?

Congrats on your new "baby" on the way. Coincidentally, mine rode that same boat over back in June of this year. My car thoroughly enjoyed its trip.

My MINI was at the port and could have been on the Ivory Arrow or the Endurance, but instead is still sitting at the port. :-(

The next two options are the Talisman or Eurasian Highway, both departing on September 11 and arriving in Baltimore on September 19 and September 21, respectively.

I'd been planning on going on a drive the weekend of September 19 - 20, but that's blown now.

 

Looks like you'll have it in your possession pretty soon! I bet you're ecstatic!

 

When did you place your order? Just wanted to know how long from that time to actual transport. I placed my order last Saturday 9/5. Thanks!

 

It varies...LOTS...
Talk to your dealer...
find out when your PRODUCTION SLOT is scheduled for production...when the car begins production, a VIN# will be assigned...the car will be transported to the port, wait for its ship..might be a direct ship..might switch..the when it gets to the port, it will be prepped...and trucked to the dealer, who again will need a few days to get it ready...
A very busy dealer might sell slots MONTHS before the car is scheduled to be built, or might sell a slot scheduled to be built in a matter of DAYS...
To put it into perspective, when I ordered my MINI 10 YEARS ago, the slot I got was 4 MONTHS from production...it took a couple days to build, just made a ship at the port,an lividng on the east coast it was a FAST trip..west coast USA can take an extra week or more, and have fewer ships... and then I was lucky cause it spent only ONE day getting prepped...and I took deliver...ordered around JULY, delivered Christmas EVE.
Today most cars are ordered and shipped in more like 2 months since wait times are less cause the factory has been expanded...

I ordered on 8/10. Build complete and shipped on 9/4

 

My order was placed on August 21st and production was completed by September 3rd, which I found to be insanely fast. The biggest delay has been with shipping. :-/

 

Maybe yours is on same ship as mine.
