Welcome Pedro,

I am really liking that color combo for the JCW . I thought the New Rebel Green on JCW Red was different, but I would say the Blue on RED really pops. I bet you get allot of looks from people ad kids smiling and pointing at your MINI. Great set up.

We did get a factory JCW on the dyno yesterday! It definitely beat the published numbers as well

Thanks for the info. I am sometimes tempted to upgrade my '15 F56S, but it has been trouble free through 16,000 miles. These reports confirm to me that my current power levels are already quite high for a light, fwd car. I am anxious to see how the drivetrains of these cars hold up to some of these performance mods, especially when increasing the torque levels at the lowend.
Great report.

Here are some comparison graphs of the factory F56 JCW and the stock F56 and the F56 with JCW tuning kit...

I'm thinking of adding the JCW kit to my 2014 S. How noticeable is the extra power in normal driving and what was the effect on your MPG figures? I sure love the exhaust sound.

FWIW, I test drove a 2015 MCS with the kit at our dealership, and I noticed a difference immediately when rolling off the lot. Car was more responsive and had more oomph when driving normally. Now the caveat is the car I test drove had the sport automatic (paddle shifters), so I'm not sure if some of the extra oomph and quicker acceleration wasn't in part due to the different (sport) transmission and the shift points due to computer mapping.

I'd have ordered the kit based on the test drive, but, as I told the service manager who rode with me, because my car does not have the sport transmission, I'd hate to gamble $2800 for an upgrade that may be less than what I experienced in the test drive car.

I'm still on the fence whether to buy the kit or not.

Dyno'ed whp for a stock MCS is 188 w/ torque 229lbft. With the JCW kit it jumps to 206whp w/ torque 236-237lbft Net 18 HP gained and 7-8 lb ft of torque gained.

The biggest advantage I see is the added low-end torque that is gained under 4500 rpm. Even the factory JCW doesn't have that low end torque, but rather adds it on the high end instead.
