Really? What actual science was shown or proven? I generally think these additives are a waste, but stating that you are a chemical engineer and then giving no real facts is pretty much useless. Only a real world experiment from an independent would prove it for me and nobody is going to do that because it doesn't pay!

 

You're right. I've worked in the petroleum industry, the level of detergents in premium fuel is more than adequate. Without lab testing it is really all speculation at this point but that's the beauty of the society we live in, the choice is completely yours.

 

I add a bottle of Guiness Stout before each fillup. The car drives like a crazy person now!
