It's $2053 before the exhaust tips, labor, and tax.

FWIW....I've driven both a F56 S w/ JCW kit and a factory F56 JCW and the JCW Kit actually seems to add a good amount of punch. Sure it's not as cheap as a JB tune, but factory stuff never is. The remote controlled exhaust sounds pretty good on it too.

For around town/off the line, I almost think the JCW kit feels peppier than the actual JCW. Up top though, the factory JCW is a beast.

The labor costs I think is where we'll see the biggest differences in bottom line price, as different dealers charge different rates for labor.

Ughhhhhhh... That would be the deterrent for me. I can barely justify 2k plus tax. I've put an exhaust on my friend's wrx and for the amount of work I know it takes, another grand is a bit outrageous.

Please post pics/vids and opinions prices too if it's not too personal. Can't wait to hear from you about it!

This was discussed months ago in another thread. Yes, the labor is extra. So spending $2,600. - $3,000. (depending on what your dealer charges you for parts and labor) for a meager 20hp or so upgrade (albeit a nice exhaust system) is ludicrous. Especially when the Burger Motorsports tune gets you an addition 30whp and 40wtq. And the tune can be easily removed and is not detectable by the dealer. A safe tune, too.

Just adding my 2 cents here...

I've had my JCW tuning kit installed since January 20th and I love it!
You definitely will feel the hp/torque gains and double clicking the Bluetooth remote and hearing that baffle open never gets old! 😉
My total cost was $2500 for everything.

$2500 is not that bad. Again, I could care less about the tune, I'm mainly doing it for the exhaust and the tune is just an extra bonus. Like I said in an earlier post on this thread, I understand the ease of of the burger tune but I just don't want to have to worry about anything.

I was wondering this too, if burger overwrites the jcw tune or what happens... Also, could you restore the jcw tune after taking off the burger tune?

Link? Does that include the exhaust tips?

Keep in mind that the ECU reflash has to be done at a dealer, so factor in some additional labor there.

Burger + rear muffler delete = 500 tack on Mario Palza's down pipe your 250-260bhp and 270wtq.,..or JCW tune+ exhaust your 228bhp and 219ish wtq for 2500.00+

I don't get how there is even a thread discussing it as side from having to wait for the Burger....BTW the b48 is still the engine for all f56/55 S cars outside the US

We get it. Y'all like your piggyback. It's getting to "cool story bro" levels. This is a JCW Tuning Kit thread. If we wanted to discuss piggybacks, we'd post in those threads. Give it a rest.

Hahahahha well said the901.

Clint, is there any disadvantage from ordering it through ECS as opposed to the dealer? Does it still come with the warranty and everything authentic?

Edit: What tips is everyone looking at getting and what is your reasoning?

I have no idea about that Honderpilot... I would think as long as it is Genuine MINI product and installed at a MINI dealership, then the warranty would be applied. I wouldn't think it would matter where you bought the parts as long as they are genuine and installed professionally? I may be wrong though.

ECS Tuning participates on a lot of these threads, maybe they'll answer that question. I bet it's the same parts (which is mainly the exhaust), but the dealer will charge labor for the exhaust and may charge extra for the tune above and beyond what you pay ECS( which is mainly the exhaust parts).

Just got my car back. Aside from the new scratch on the paint, I like it. The power does seems to be in the upper rev range. It's noticeable. I haven't really had a chance to drive it all that much so it's hard to say for the rest of the power band. Plus, there was mention that the car had to be driven 60+ miles for the ecu to adapt.

I need more time in the car but I'm back to work for now.
