Hi everyone,

I have a 2014 F56 with the NM Tuning box and intake.

Installed about a week ago.

Yesterday and today I noticed my car, is idling rough. In fact i had it stalled on me TWICE so far. At first i thought i let go my clutch w/o being in netural, but it happened again today, so i know it wasnt that causing the stall.

ONLY HAPPENS DURING IDLE, at less than 1000 Rpm, it would dip up and down but it would never exceed the 1k RPM Mark. And when it dips too low, the car start shaking and vibrating to keep running.

It is not CRAZY Shakes and Vibration, but it is THERE and you can feel it when ur sitting inside the car.

Now i never had this problem before the Tuning box and intake.
So i cant think of what is causing the problem!!

 

I don't want to hear this!! I just ordered the power module and the intake.

 

I have the BMS tuning box and I installed the NM intake this week, I have noticed a little rougher idle myself. I figured maybe the car had to adapt. Keep this updated.

 

Hmm...you're the first I know of that has the NM tuning box. What happens if you remove the box? Does the idle go back to normal?

Would definitely contact NM Eng...don't they have an employee here on NAM?

 

I assume it would go back to normal, if I remove the tuning box.

However it seems like it doesn't do it all the time.

After work today, on my way home. I didn't notice the vibration like I did in the morning..... So I didn't remove the box yet.

tried Con tactics NM today but apparently they don't open on weekends.
