Thoughts/Help

Hey guys, just got a 2015 Mini S two door with JCW exterior. Only mods I really wanna do is paint all the chrome trim black. And also put some spacers on the front and back. I'm a total noob when it comes to car mods but these seem somewhat simple. Only thing I've done is tinted the whole thing. Any thoughts or suggestions on brands and prices would be great.

They still need to install them. For some reason the car didn't come with them installed. They're on order. You've got good eyes. Haha.

Is your roof rack installed on a solid roof or glass roof? I wanna get a rack on mine.

Found the pics of the Gas Cap and Door handles installed for you. Look great on the Red.

Before you spend money replacing your chrome trim, consider using plasti-dip. It's cheaper than buying new parts and it's easy to do.

I have the factory cross bars and touring bike holder mounted to the OEM roof rails. My F56 has the premium package, which includes the dual pane panoramic sunroof.

The rack is super easy to install as well as remove and reinstall if needed. It is quieter (surprisingly) than any of my previous VWs or MINIs with a roof rack, but it is certainly much noisier in tilt or fully opened than without the rack. With windows and sunroof closed and stereo on, you would never know the rack was there even at freeway speeds. A testament to the extra sound deadening MINI has done with the F56/F55.

Thanks! And thanks for noticing! They are super subtle, but make a big difference to me visually. Worth every (expensive) penny.

Plasti-Dip

I looked up that product. Might be a good option for the chrome trim, grill, and the gas cap. But I think for the door handles a hard plastic would be better suited. So I'll most likely get the handle covers listed above.
Meanwhile I'm still waiting on the JCW side skirts... Oh and my back up sensors are all messed up. But even after a month of purchase I'm still waiting for the parts. Not very happy about it.

MINIOS, sorry to hear about the delay and aggravation. Did your MINI come from the factory with the John Cooper Works rocker panels missing as a mistake? Did you purchase it from the dealer's inventory or order it? The reason I ask is that I see you got yours at MINI of Las Vegas. When I got my F56, the only other Thunder Gray John Cooper Works Kit car was in Vegas and they were going to dealer trade for it for me. In the end, I decided to get the more loaded unit at my local dealer (I initially really wanted the 17" rims) and would have been SO BUMMED if they traded for it and it arrived without the proper rocker panels. I think your MINI was the one I was looking at!

Hope it all gets sorted out soon!

I got it from the dealer's inventory.
Mini corporate called me yesterday to check on the matter. And I told them it still wasn't fixed.
Also my brakes just don't feel right. The car jerks around sometimes. I used to have a 135i that I terribly miss. And that car was solid and drove so well. This one not so much. maybe I just gotta get used to it? I dunno.
