Mine is a CR because I ordered a JCW exterior pack. The Chili Red on a 2015 MINI is available only if you order a JCW exterior package ($2500) that also comes with JCW aero kit, white turn signals, and 17"Track Spoke wheels.

I just ordered a hardtop in Volcanic Orange since it looked cool and it was a free color. Went with white mirrors and roof to make it look like a creamsicle and it will match one of my favorite dive watches. I am a guy BTW.

No Problem!

The MINI USA configuration is badly in need of serious update. The JCW exterior pack has been available for order for quite some time now. Check with your dealer. They might even have some in stock for you to view in person.

And I LOVE Electric Blue....you can certainly tell I love bold colors on MINIs. They are more fun!

I tried to put a deposit on a VO/Black F56 MCS in February (didn't work out). Eclipse Grey/Red fJCW Coupe instead. Male. I've only seen one F56 on the streets (Prescott, not Phx). There was a pic of a Chile Red car in England with the JCW body kit and British flag roof. Very sharp looking car. He ordered it.

Unfortunately, out of the 50 or so F56 Mini's my dealer had, I didnt see not one JCW exterior package. Oh well. I will check back with them before I order for sure. In pics I like the JCW front fascia, however, Im not too much of a fan for the rear fascia. It looks a little weird. I actually prefer the stock MCS rear fascia over the JCW rear fascia. Maybe seeing one in person will change my mind.

Female, 64. I reluctantly ordered White-Silver/white roof because Chili Red (like my '07) is no longer available for a non-JCW, and I just didn't like the orange tones Blazing Red has at times. I was willing to go with a bright turquoise blue, as in previous years, but none was available at the time I ordered my 2015. I would have settled for a traditional German-style silver, but...none was available at the time I ordered my 2015.

I very nearly didn't order an F56 at all! I was actively scouting the end-of-2013 new car inventories throughout the dealer network, but it was mid 2014 by then, and the inventory was pretty well dried up. I couldn't find CR/W, S, 6 speed, sunroof. I wasn't worried about most of the options.

MINI corporate, are you listening???

I settled for White Silver only with the thought that I would use graphics to brighten the color. I really don't like the color by itself--a dull gray most of the time.

(Just my opinion, of course. Apologies to those who do like Blazing Red or White Silver.)

Male, 29. I'm on my 3rd MINI, first off it's not the most masculine car out there, so I don't see how color would really make a difference at this point. Secondly she doesn't sound like a very good saleswoman. Thirdly, who cares as long as you love it.

I too find it crazy that the salesperson would make such a statement! What's her opinion on heated seats and floor mats? Anyway, male, BRG. Also, it seems this forum is pretty male-dominated (not trying to start anything, just noticing the small number of female responses) so you might not get a truly scientific result to you survey. My wife and I prefer different colors, like everybody else. She likes yellow, I like something a little more mellow. Get what you like and enjoy it.

I agree. You can always customize with stripes and/or graphics to your own taste if the question ever comes up.

I can't imagine a conversation where a salesperson tried to put me off a colour by saying it was too masculine/feminine ...

In any case, female, and hyper blue and volcanic orange. I just go for bright, happy colours.

Female, 55, Blazing Red/White. Just IMO, feel like white roof is more playful and black roof is more serious or aggressive. I went playful. I consider the colors neither feminine nor masculine and too find it odd that a salesperson would suggest that. Heck, I've heard some people say the Mini in general is feminine. I don't agree with that either. Get what you like.

Male, 51. Soon to be owner of MCS with Electric Blue, black roof and bonnet stripes.

I agree with becky1711 about the black roof being more serious, which is why I chose to pair it with a lighter body color of electric blue.

I don't own a MINI but i have test driven blazing red and Volcanic Orange. Electric Blue is my other favorite color the F56 is offered in.

The MINI comes in no purely feminine combinations that I have ever seen. I would wear a pink shirt but wouldn't want a pink car. Certain cars look fem to me but I don't really believe in gender roles so I look at it as preference.

When I see a guy in a Beetle Cabrio, I think "that guy is confident"!

For those who have said they've heard others say the MINI is "feminine", I would have to disagree with this. I've never once thought this. Its a very neutral car, IMO. Im pretty sure I will be ordering EB, but still not 100%, as there are two other colors in the running.
