Shorter blade on the driver side, longer on the passenger. They are a J hook design and have a additional little snap out flap on the top.

Related to wipers... I have wiper marks on the windshield. Does anyone know how to remove them? It's completely clear during the day, but only show up when theres water on it. I think it's the wiper rubbing in to the glass.

I'm sure it's not a real scratch or dirt or anything like that.

I tried windex, magic cleaner (microfiber block), microfiber, vinegar, Stone Invisiglass glass cleaner, nothing seems to get it out.

Might be scratched , can you see etching at an angle in the sunlight. Also might be the rain X wearing off.

No scratch. I'm pretty sure it is the wiper blade silicone getting accumulated on the glass. I just don't know how to get rid of that thing. It's on my Mazda too. I keep the glass very clean at all times.

When it wears down allot it tends to streak when it rains. Like a little is still there, with rain X you have to keep applying it through the year.

Is this a treatment that Mini is putting on their cars. I only ask because I recently purchased a previously-owned 2015 F56 and noticed that the wipers make a strange noise - almost like there is something on the windshield. And when I clean the windshield with Windex, it doesn't feel like smooth glass.

I just thought that the wipers were probably new as it doesn't rain much here. Is this Rain X?

Thanks.

I do apply RainX once in a while, but could that be what's completely getting stuck on the Windshield? I applied RainX again and wiped it completely clean with water and then also with alcohol. It's spotless under the sun no matter how close I get to it, but only start seeing the wiper mark when there's water. The water kind of sticks on to that area.

Maybe I should try the 0000 steel wool sometime.

Not that I heard of, the previous owner might have treated it with rain X.
