Miniac, good to know - guess I'll keep it. Thing is I have a 18 year old Subaru with no discernible rock chips. Can't explain it.

I admit I'm a bit shocked that dealers can get $699 for a bit of 3M film. Reminds me of undercoating of yesteryear - highly marked up and a ****-poor value.

I paid $600 12 years ago but that included protection for the headlights, wing mirrors, door edges, underneath door handles, below gas cap and top and face of rear bumper.

I did not get the bra on my '07 and I regretted it heavily. I should hope to be so lucky as to get one gratis! Nice work.

My car is in (and shows up on the top of the list of their '15 MCSs as of right now). My reallocated Motoring Advisor said I should see it "before the end of the month." Woo!

veg, where are the photos!?!

The Meal, it's a lame excuse, but I'm been real busy running around with non-MINI related life. I'll see if I can get some pics up soon, if I can figure out how to upload them. Although VO is the new hot color for MINI, I have yet to see one on the roads. So far, I'm the only one!

How can you tell the 15s from the 14s ?

Can't always listen for the matching revs.

The above was not a derogatory statement.
More clearly presented:

Are there any discernible external cosmetic differences between
the 2014 and 2015 Mini Hardtops

I don't think there are any external nor internal differences. The only difference is the MPG and that rev limiting thing that was possibly related to the EPA mileage issue.
