I have the Mini Connected XL and it is supposed to read text messages. When I use the voice activated button, it replies no messages ate loaded. there are unread messages. I am using an hone 5s. Any thoughts?

 

At this point, I don't believe iOS is supported for messages and emails.

 

Texts (at least iMessage) work for reading. Tried it, found it annoying. Can only read ones that came in after you started the car.

Sending -- just hold the voice button down longer and you'll get to Siri for voice sending.

iPhone 5, latest iOS.

Hmmm on your iPhone 5 > Bluetooth settings > Mini xxxx > Info do you have to have show notifications turned on? I have a iphone 6, and this has never worked...

 

I made those changes to the settings in my bluetooth settings on my phone and now my messages are coming over to my mini! Fantastic!
