Getting my new Mini Cooper this week. Pretty sure it's a 2015 (work car, just taking what they give me!) Want to have everything I need on order so I can work on connections this weekend.....

To connect an iPhone 5S do I just need a USB cable? Or do I need the Y cable? All I care about is being able to access my music on my phone without needing to touch the phone.

 

You only need a UBS cable or just Bluetooth.

 

Excellent. I was looking around and found the answers. Glad to see it is just the one cable now.

 

Yep usb cable, will play music and charge off of it. Calls are through Bluetooth. I'm assuming you have a base radio?
