CPU Changes?

I was wondering if anybody out there had any experience with what I assume would be CANBUS changes. Maybe that's not what I should be asking , but here's an example of what I'd like to do:

My fog lights can only be ON when the headlights are ON and are on LOW BEAM. Go to high beam they turn OFF. Switch to just parking lights and they are OFF. Same situation exists with the driving lights, they can only be ON when the headlights are ON and on HIGH BEAM. There are situations where I'd like more/independent control over these and other items in my car.

Now this has to be some kind of "If/Then" software situation in the CPU, but I'm a gearhead, and while I work on a computer every day as a tool to do mechanical design, I haven't done much programming since I moved beyond my Radio Shack Color Computer back in the 80's.

Any computer weenies out there?

If the F56 is anything like the R56 in terms of programmability, you'll need NCSExpert.
