They must have done it like the Gen 1 MINIs with leather vs leatherette on the lumbar again. Did not see the leatherette , all the ones I have seen were leather or cloth leather or leather alcantara.

One good thing is it look like you can add it. Based off the backrest , one could retrofit it and poke a hole for wheel base to insert. People have done this on the R56 Hardtops and the R60 Countryman.
