The non S is new!
Development of add-ons take a little time.
Don't forget the majority on Non S is still awaiting jail release.
I wouldn't mod my Mini until the warranty has expired

There are tons of options for the R50/56 non-S as far as intakes, exhaust, etc go. Considering the new Non-S is turbocharaged you can bet there will be tuning options available in the future, but as Mrdi said, it takes time for tuners and vendors to develop these things. Be patient, plenty of companies will be lining up to take your money soon enough!

Give it time....
Maybe 2+ years IMO since there is a warrenty on new cars....
But unlike prior NON-S cars....the f56 is a TURBO....so it does have MORE potential than the gen1+2 NON-S cars....
Since the typical s driver is looking to spend $$ to get performance, and non s are looking for economy....the mods will likely take bit to get introduced....since it is a new motor on a new model...give it some time!!

The post about S tuning solutions, right below yours, has this option for both S and non-S cars:

http://burgertuning.com/mini_cooper_...nce_tuner.html

Gives the non-S 20whp and 30lbft torque for roughly $400.

White Roof Radio, discussing the smaller gas tank, said MINI was going to make all the F56's 3-cylinders, and the S would have been 189hp. So let's start there! And then we'll try to get what the I8 is getting.

There are MANY of us waiting for the F56 Cooper upgrades. All turbo's in the history of mankind have been nicely accommodated by aftermarket companies wanting to earn $$

I even added a sweet Leo Vince pipe to my 250cc Vespa a few years ago.
Be paaattiient......

I'm waiting for a nice catback and will then invest in the Burger plug in module -or equivalent (as long as there are no reports of fried ECUs).
Can you just imagine how the 3 cylinder will sound! Epic! We need to start a 3 pot tuning thread soon
