Flexi dip!

Did my headlight rings, very pleased with the result. Very smooth compared to the textured look of plastidip.

Wow! I like it. I did a photoshop of my White-Silver F56S with black headlight rings and liked the looks. I was considering buying the black rings from Sewell, but I may just try this first. Is the Flexi-Dip supposed to peel away the same as Plasti-Dip?

Yes it does peel away. It is made by rust-oleum. Really like it and I have used plastidip for years. This is much better.

Any idea how this compares to Eastwood's Elastidip? I've been debating which product to buy, and the one thing I like about Eastwood is that they also have a glossifier.

I have not used it. I like that they have many colors available from the start.

I tried both, and Flexi-Dip is way more smooth and easier to apply. Definitely thinner so it might take a longer time to cover the part,
but I like it so far better.

congrats! I do like the blacked out light trim rings.

Are they easy to remove for applying the product?

Yes they are. For the front you open the bonnet and you will see the clips to just pop off. For the tail lights a little painters tape around the outside and a trim removal tool will pop those off.

I have been impressed with Flexidip also, it has very fine control over the layers and takes repeated coats better than Plastidip, imho,...
