Smoother Stop/Start?

I've been noticing something as I put the miles on Toaster, and was curious if others had noticed it as well.

Since I drive on GREEN almost all the time, the car's stop / start tech has been getting a workout. Now that I've got almost 690 miles on the car, I've been noticing that the stop/starts have gotten smoother, less jarring than they were in the past.

Am I imagining it? Has anyone else noticed? I remember when I drive the car off the lot, I could really FEEL the stop start (having been used to my wife's Prius, which has pretty smooth, almost imperceptible ones), the MINI, by contrast was pretty noticeable.

Now, the car's stop/starts are duller, more smooth, less jarring. All in all, I continue to be very satisfied with the F56.

Wanted to point out that Start/Stop has nothing to do with green mode =) It'll Start/Stop in Sports too unless turned off.

I'm at 1700 miles and it seems pretty mixed. Sometimes I can't even notice it, goes off and on like nothing is happening, other times there's a definite shake to the whole car when it starts up. Maybe temperature related? I'm really interested to see how start/stop handles below 0 weather in a few months!

Duly noted. I think since I'm in Green mode almost all the time, my brain has connected the two. :-)

I am with Sepp. I think that it may be temp related. Sometimes it is a very smooth fire and others are a bit more shaky. However I do think that it starts incredibly fast compared to a normal start.
