The time has come for me to sell my Coupe and get a new Cooper S. This time, I'm getting all the options I want and would like to save the most. Originally, I was gonna go with sport, premium, cold weather, and wired. Is that a good choice or should I go with the fully loaded? The website pretty much says that it's the same thing but with savings. What I don't see on there however is the keyless entry. Premium by itself has it though....

Also any deals on new orders?

 

I thought Comfort Access was a part of the fully loaded package... I just exited the Configurator only selecting fully loaded, and comfort access (keyless entry) is included in the package.

 

IMHO with the 2015, if you want a 'fully loaded' car then the Fully Loaded package is the best value. Assuming you want everything in the package. For example, we wanted a loaded car but not the sunroof. So we got everything that would have been in the FL package minus the sunroof, we only saved $250. So from a dollar perspective we should have got the FL package, but we didn't want the sunroof.

 

Don't forget that there are some things you may want that aren't in any package like the home link garage door opener or the self dimming mirrors or the rear fog lights. These things can sneak up on you.

 

Don't do what I did! I have Visual Boost XL plus Nav, Park Assist Package, Fully-Loaded Package, plus others. You'd think I'd therefore have the back-up camera. NOPE!! Now, I have to wait for a retrofit kit for the back-up camera that I completely expected I'd ordered. I never thought it was even possible to have the Park Assist Package without the camera, but you can! I thought it was a $500 add-on TO the back-up camera! Those packages are tricky!!
