I don't have the manual or the car in front of me, but engaging DDC involves going into settings for sport mode. In one of the sub-settings you are given the option of "engine" or "engine and chassis". The "chassis" portion of that is engaging the DDC.

I'm afraid talysin is correct. There is no adjusting the system or fine tweaking. It's either softer in green or harder in sport.

It firms up the steering wheel, makes the accelerator more responsive and firms up the suspension (I believe 10%). If you select engine only it leaves the suspension alone.

Aside from that, if you have an automatic and move the gear select shifter over to M/S mode, it will adjust the shifting to have more RPMs before shifting.

You have to go into the settings first to setup the driving modes: set the sport mode into drivetrain and chassis (both engine and suspension will be tweaked). Once you do that, the next time you move switch to sport mode, everything will be sportier/steering will be tighter.

I like the idea that there is some tweakability, slight as it may be but it sounds like the steering weight and suspension are tied together. I'm not as thrilled about that. I ordered Dynamic Dampening on faith and worry that with run flats, it could get too stiff for our frost-pocked roads in Sport mode. I hoped there would be a way to disable DD if it turned out to be a bad choice.

I'll just have to live with it and hope for the best.

Yep - just select engine rather than engine / chassis in the sport mode setup and that disables the DDC feature. IMO the 10% that DDC adds is noticeable but in no way over the top.

It's good to hear that the dampening is reasonable. If you don't select Chassis, does the steering wheel weight adjust when switching into Sport mode?

I have mine set to engine only - no chassis adjustment in sport. It was just too darn bouncy.
