So here I was bored waiting for my MINI "Norman" to get on a boat. I decided to look over my VIN information. So I plugged my VIN in on THIS site and it stated that I will have cruise control WITH brake function. This is huge news if true!!

 

Its the standard cruise control, comes with all the MINIs. It is NOT the Adaptive Cruise that will maintain a certain distance from the car in front of you, but yes, it will brake when you dial down your cruise speed.

 

Dang, I was excited for a minute :(

 

You still should be excited! Maybe just a touch less excited ...

 

This does a much better job than other cars I've had in controlling speed when going downhill. This is a very nice feature.
