Has anyone tried putting their E-ZPass (or similar electronic toll transponder) inside the upper storage compartment? Wondering if it would work there. At work, we keep ours in the covered storage compartment on the dashboard, and works fine there. (It's a Ford Fusion)

 

It didn't work for me. I have mine attached to the front edge of the sunroof. Have been doing this since 2002 with the various models of Mini with no issues.
