Can any owners answer this for me? Which, if any, of the following are LED Bulbs?

1) side-scuttles
2) vanity mirror lamps
3) boot lamp
4) glove box lamp

Side scuttles are listed in the manual as W5W if you have an orange lens, which are LEDs. If you have a white lens, WY5W, also LED.

The other interior lamps it doesn't specifically list... but I'm nearly certain its all LEDs. The colored visual effect stuff is all LED.

 

It would certainly make sense, given that the license plate lights (and most others are). It will be nice to not have to swap out for them, for once, but if they're "yellow" (e.g. In the visors, which I seem to think they were, I will swap them for more "white" ones, and ditto (especially) the boot light, as it makes a huge difference!

 

I'm pretty sure W5W or WY5W does not spec for LED bulbs, necessarily, although these may be. I think it just specs for the type of base and wattage.

Guess I'll find out for myself in about a week's time. 😜

 

I don't think the boot light is LED and I would like to swap mine. Anyone know what I should order?
