Outside mirrors

Will the outside mirrors on all of the F56 fold back, or only those with
additional options.

If they fold, what are the procedures?

I think you need the Power Fold Heated Mirrors, which are added by the Cold Weather package or a $250 stand alone option.

To make them fold, there's a button next to the switch that selects driver/passenger mirror for adjustment, hit that button and the swivel up to fold in. Apparently in the UK if you hold the lock button on your remote for 5 seconds they will also fold up, I have to try that still but haven't heard of it working in the US.

I would think they should breakaway in case of accidental contact?

My 2005 MC mirrors folded manually. I'd be surprised if these don't! More "rotate" on the stalk than "fold."

"Break-away" mirrors were b.s. Marketing PR by Ford and Toyota from the last decade. No advantage to you, but a perpetual advantage to Ford/Toyota! Where I live, folding mirrors are a daily must!

Wondering if this might be a setting in the infotainment? My Audi's could be set to fold in when you turned the engine off.

They are the same design as previous generations. Manually rotate the mirror up at the base.
