Has anyone found a source to buy this?

I'm a little annoyed that it didn't come standard with the Wired package, especially since they bothered to put a fake plastic piece in that's like "hey, you need to buy this adapter because we're too cheap to give it to you" but I'm tired of hearing my ipod get knocked all around every time I lift the arm rest up.

I didn't see it on the Sewell site and my dealer doesn't have any idea what's going on with accessories for the F56.


You would think they rushed the launch judging by all the issues they're having with parts shortages and whatnot, except they ended R56 production like 6 months ago.

They are expensive, and don't do much for you besides holding it firmly in place while plugged in.

I don't see one for an iPhone 5 though.

Huh, I didn't even realize you could buy from MINI directly. I wanted it so that I could keep my ipod charged and out of sight, but that's a ridiculous price to pay.

 

The armrest compartment is so small. Doesn't even fit my Nexus 4 flat. I don't have the adapter or anything.

I guess it only fits long but not width phones. I put my sunglasses in there for now.

 

Odd, The armrest in the F56 holds my Galaxy Note 2 and it is larger than the Nexus 4 to my knowledge. I don't have the snap-in connector, just the little place holder thing that comes with the car.
