Got an email from my MA today, I'm also week 21 for my build! Our cars should indeed be on the same boat over to NY =)

Well this is the way BMW does it... they make changes even during the production run. But look at it this way, you got one of the first Mini's and are able to enjoy it while everyone else can only read about it.

Could be, though for your sake I hope they send it across the pond sooner. I haven't looked at shipping schedules much yet, didn't want to get too far ahead of myself!

Don't count on anything until they tell you it's at the dealer. Today I tried to order my fifth Mini (second S Coupe).....w/black roof & Harmon Kardon, but it wasn't accepted. No telling WHEN or IF it would begin production I am told. There must be something to the speculation about a roof & radio glitch. Glad I have my current S Coupe to enjoy while the wait goes on.

An MA in Tempe I saw Sunday said they're telling new orders 60-90 days, maybe more, because there's a flood of orders there. I am still tempted to order, but am considering waiting for the 2015 model.

I don't mind a manufacturer making changes during a production run at all. In fact if it improves performance, safety, etc., etc., I encourage it.

Coming out with a slightly changed (?) 2015 so soon after the '14s started arriving is grossly inconsiderate.

I seriously doubt there will be many if any changes at all. The biggest change is likely to be the date on the sticker, and maybe a slight bump up in price. I'm hoping for some better options as far as configuration.
