Illuminated LED Door Entry Strips

Hi, has anybody ordered these and had fitted them to their F56 yet please. They are a new style made especially for the F56 and they are customer installable as they have a long life battery in them instead of the usual complicated drilling and wiring needed.
If so, would you be so kind as to email me the instructions that came with it please and also your thoughts on the fitting time/complications and also final look of the product?
Many thanks in advance,
Dave

I won't be getting my car until June so not sure how much this helps.

The dealer said that they will install the JCW illuminated door sills on mine when it comes in to compensate me for the missing features I wanted And the options that they forgot to put on my car when they orders it.

I will ask my service dept if they require drilling.

Thanks for the replies guys, appreciated.
I know they deff do not require drilling, that is for sure.
What I actually want to do is to fit them to a 2010 R57, but I want to try and see how they are fitted first before I take a chance and buy them, only perhaps to find out they will not fit. The website talks about a "solenoid switch" which I guess is some magnetic thing that works when the door is opened, but, I want to try and research all this first via seeing the fitting instructions as a good start. Thanks anyway, anybody else had these done or can lay their hands on the instructions please?
Thanks, Dave

My doors have a light that shines down from the exterior door handle and another light in the bottom of the door that give plenty of light -- I guess these were standard.

Yeah, the illuminated sill plates don't provide any extra lighting -- the text on the sill just lights up when the door is opened. I had them on my R56 and liked them for a while but eventually forgot about them and never noticed them after a while.
