The profile shot of the ride makes the wheels look a lot smaller than they did initially in the angled shot you posted in the wheel thread. Are your coils maxed out in this shot? What's your ground clearance like in the front?

Yeah I agree, the 17's look a little small in that shot. In person they look pretty good but they just don't fill the wheel wells quite as well as the 18's did.
The fronts are nowhere near maxed out, you could probably put it on the floor if you really wanted to. The rears are as low as you can go with the standard adjustments I think. You can adjust spring height and shock height independently on these but I can't figure out what adjusting the shock height would accomplish. Unless I misunderstand how this work it's the spring the really sets the height. I could drop it another half inch in the rear by removing the threaded collars from the springs.
Front clearance is about 3". I went over multiple speedbumps without making contact so it's still plenty practical for daily driving. I just wouldn't recommend straddling any road kill. I hit a dead squirrel the first day and it got hung up underneath. I cut some material off the little nubs under the front bumper but other than that clearance is fine.
The real issue is the lack of space in the front wheel well. I burned a good chunk of tire in the front when I first had it set up because it was rubbing on the spring. The adjustment collar was within a mm of making contact with the tire too, though as long as it clears it'll never hit. I've raised it up a good 1/2" from that point since the new arches are on (pic is showing height after it was raised). AND on top of that the wheels still poke a fair bit even though they're only 7.5" wide. It's a tight squeeze up there. I actually had to raise it up some more since this picture because it was still damaging the fender when hitting bumps while turning. I really need camber plates.
To each his own I guess. They're the right size for testing fitment, they're not replicas and they're nice and simple. Plus I've always like the 348 so it's fun to own a little piece of one.
