Picked up my TG/B MCS today. Will post first impressions later, it's a rough workweek, especially when you throw in picking up a new car and saying goodbye to the old one of seven+ years. I have some mixed feelings about the car. I do like it, but it's making me think.
Going through a little buyer's remorse now, but coming around fast thanks to all the discussion on the board. Let us know what you think. I posted my thoughts and no one flamed me or expelled me from the boards. . . yet.
I started to write it up a bit, but I'm just too tired. Work stress is dampening my enthusiasm, or I'd be in the driveway right now figuring out MINI Connected.

I have one coming also and it scares the crap out of me trading my R56. I bet in my head I have changed my mind a 100 times about it. Great looking car you got, I got TG also.
Here is a quick photo of my White Silver base with sport package.
It is 'whitish" but not as bad as I was beginning to believe. I like the sparkle in there from the metallic. The wife likes white so I think we'll be OK here. Thanks so much for the photo!
White Silver is an interesting color but does tend to look more white than silver. I found this video that features an interview(although it is in Spanish)
with a base and an S F56, both in White Silver shown in a show room and it definitely looks white, but if you look closely at the beginning of the video there is a White Silver sitting in the sun light on a dock and it looks kind of Silver.
Pretty sure the "silver" refers to metallic elements in the paint, not the color. My car is "Sparkling Silver" but it's basically beige with silver metallic in it which looks great in sunlight. I bet the White Silver is the same gig.
@helipadforme. Beautiful car. Looks like exactly what I ordered. More pics, please? Can't take delivery of mine until June 1 at the grand opening of our new Mini dealer, even though my car will probably be here next week....Meanwhile, I will covet yours. sigh...

Jimbo,
I've not yet had a chance to view the clip, but if it's the 2 cars in the pic they look pepper white to me, not white silver.

Mike.
I owned a Pepper White and it looked like the photos posted in this thread by "randomquickness" and "millicentmini" and not like the White Silver photo posted by "helipadforme", also in this thread
Here is a better representation of White Silver and the black stripes. Hope this helps and thanks for the comments on the car! I am loving it!
The more I see the more I feel I can live with this color. It is more white than I would prefer but I do like the metallic sparkle it seems to have. I'm almost down to counting on one hand until delivery. The I'll know for sure.

And on a small car, the whites, red and orange ought to be safer since they're more visible to other drivers.
Hi all. This is my first post, but here's my Midnight Black S that I bought earlier this week. Sport pkg, Let's Launch pkg (Black and Gray side scuttles and mirror caps, plus driving lights. This package was really hard for my dealer to figure out what it included!) Premium Pkg, Cross Leather, and automatic.
I'm coming out of a 2014 F250 Platinum diesel (long story), and all I can say is that I am absolutely in love with this car. It's the first Mini I've had. It's quirky and is missing some things I'd like to have, but I don't even care because I love the car.
I had the windows tinted Tuesday and added a Black Jack inside mirror cover. It's been a long time since I've had a car I felt like customizing but this one I sure do.
