F55/F56 Another F56 in the mix
#76
This picture was the deciding factor in my F56 purchase. It's clean and sleek. No giant spoilers, no obnoxious rocket bunny flares, simple understated wheels, and the perfect stance. Upon further review, I think I like this setup more than the new one. It's flawless. From every angle this car just looks perfect.

Thanks guys Yeah BRG is clearly the best color. Not biased at all haha.
I may eventually go back to 18's, and there's a really good chance I'll be getting a real set of LM's in the future. For now I'm just feeling out what I can make fit before I spend anything really significant on wheels. If I hadn't gone with the replicas first I would've been stuck with a set of $2,500 wheels that wouldn't fit.
I can't really decide whether I like the look of 17's or 18's better.

I initially wanted BRG as well. There was a sold one waiting to be picked up when I went in. White roof and silver 17" cosmos wheels. Looked amazing, but the wait for one was gonna be like 3 months and I needed a car ASAP. So Midnight Black was my secondary choice and I pulled the trigger.
I can't wait to put my rims on so I can contribute to the picture thread. But I've heard rumors that there is one last East Coast snowfall coming for the end of the month. ARGH!!! The frustrations of living in Canada!

Definitely 18's...they just seem to fill the wheel well perfectly (based on R99 and your setups). Speaking of which, I'm shocked at how few cars there are on aftermarket rims on the forum. I bought my MINI thinking that customizing was the norm. Not that there's anything wrong with the stock car.

This angle seems vaguely familiar. Really struggling to find new places for photos this time of year.

And still trying to find a different angle of the car I like.

I may be selling this car soon if anyone is interested. I haven't decided on a price, but it would be reasonable and include the coilovers and intake. I'll keep the wheels.
I'd split the shipping cost 50/50 or help deliver anywhere remotely sensible from Murrells Inlet, SC. Or come to the beach for a free weekend vacation and leave with a MINI

We're building a new house and I've been having a hard time swallowing a $300 car payment every month. It's not that I can't afford it, I'm just used to not having one. Looking at a '91 MB 300TE this weekend. I'd feel a lot better if I had that extra $300 in my pocket for when we move, just to be safe.

- Valvecover gasket
- 3 rear main seals
- Rear leaf spring shackles
- IMRC solenoid
- Heater control valve
- A lot of cursing and swearing
Keep the MINI and enjoy the warranty man. I'm thinking about selling the Ranger and just picking up a cheap lease instead. Much less frustrating.

Yeah but I really like old cars, and I really like working on them. Before my F56 I had an '86 560SL, and before that I had a '92 E30 convertible and a '69 Austin Mk2. I just enjoy them more. I picked up the w124 so we'll see. I've been driving it this week and it's in ridiculously good shape. Even the auto A/C and seat memory functions work. Crazy.

I'm looking at dumping the Ranger and picking up a Justa lease through work so I can motor without worry. Just need to figure out the bike rack situation.
