The Deep Blue looks awesome! I'm curious, would you say that it's a lighter or darker color than BRG II? Thanks!

Noticed you got the base hardtop and was wondering how the 3 cylinder engine sounds and performs. Great looking car!

I would say there pretty similar as they both change in light. Hard to tell. Deep blue really does change depending on light and whats around it !

Only done 90 miles so not sure yet as showing 43 MPG. but needs to be run in and stretch its legs a bit. I think it will be punchy

Sound is quite nice quite deep for such a small engine. Its very quite in the cabin when your driving about that's nice

Does new base mini require premium gas?
I thought turbo engine requires premium gas.

I'm not at all a fan of the F56 and these pix don't change my mind, BUT that is the most incredible blue color I have ever seen on a car outside of the admiral blue on the C4 Corvette Grand Sport...Beautiful

Congratulations on the new ride...getting a fresh new car is a lot of fun...thanks for posting your new family member!

I'm insanely jealous that you live in Oxford. I would love to take a tour of the plant...you probably have transport laury's shooting by your house all the time loaded up with Minis.....

How bout the HUD, is that worth it? What does it show you besides the speed?

I like it as we have it in our 6 Series. Shows speed all the time and when you wana change songs/radio and so on shows the menu for that.

Also navigation directions

You can pick what you want shown on it from a menu there's about 5 options

Beautiful car, your pictures confirm the color choice i want. I will order mine with the white top and mirrors. Is there a separate toggle switch for the rear fog lamp? Where does this switch go?

Thanks

Fog light switch is just to the right of the steering wheel where your knee would be. you might see a few buttons next to the twisty **** switch thing. So no toggle just a button

so is this button the same one that operates the front fog lamps? If i didn't order the rear will it be empty?

I ask, because on the R56, the rear fog has its own switch and if i didn't order it, then the slot would be empty and it was said that there was no way to add the rear fog light after the car was built.

Yea, i missed that when we ordered ours. I don't really care about the rear fog light, but it would have been worth $100 to me just to avoid the empty switch spot!

Is that a useless switch or a plugged hole? I never had heard of a rear fog light, but would have spent 100 bux, too.

yea, it was listed as an option we could have ordered on our JCW-we just didn't understand the significance of it at the time(prevented an empty hole)....

I've seen some really bad fog in Europe, but still doubt the necessity of REAR fog lights.

Maybe there's some after-market part that would plug that hole and looks like it belongs.

completely agree-I just want the switch....don't really care what it's for....I, like others have this thing about looking down at my switch bank and seeing that empty hole.....
