New hatchback features to roadster?

Anyone know if MINI plans to introduce the new F56 features to the roadster? There are a few I really want and would be willing to wait to order if they indeed plan to extend to the roadster.

When you say "extend" do you mean redesign it to fit the f56 platform?
The F56 is a "new gen"..the replacement chassis for the gen2 cars...all MINI's sold will eventually be "updated" to newer platforms...meaning redesigned....
the roadster is a derivative of the gen2 cars...knowing this...
My guess...the roadster will continue on, just as the r52 (gen1 cabrio) did for a couple years when the gen2 hardtop came out (letting MINI work the bugs out of a new car)....then it will be either phased out or reintroduced on the new chassis with the new motor and features....
Just adding "gen3 aka f56" features to the older cars is unlikely to happen...they cars are too different...So I would not expect the f56 items to be added to ANY older platform in a "refresh".....
There have been various articles on the web about the "future" MINI lineup....but I bet 99% of it is just guesses....heck..MINI might not know...much is based on sales...

Thanks Zippy, all very valid points. I was just hoping they would update the roadster as well. Now I'm debating between the coupe and the roadster.
