2019 F57 remote keyfob and tpms don’t work anymore
Hi, my 2019 Mini F56 with 800 miles on it greeted me with a flat battery after 2 weeks of travel. The car had to be jump started. After that, and driving for 120 miles on the freeway everything works fine, except the remote buttons on both keyfobs, and the tpms. I cleared error codes of TPMS with bimmercod, and reset tpms in idrive, but the initialization fails at 0% with “TPMS malfunction”. Also theremote button on both keyfobs would not lock/ unlock the car. I have to use the little black button on the comfort access exterior doorhandles for that. The car starts normally? Anyone had the same problem after having a new 12 V battery installed in their car?

Old topic but 'll add some insight info the problem and solution.
In case anyone encounters same symptoms - TPMS not working and stuck at 0% if trying to reset + key fob buttons not working check for any trouble codes, should see:
0x480A46: Tyre Pressure Monitor: gateway or aerial fault
0xD35694: Message (RDC data package 1, 127.0.1) missing, receiver DSC, transmitter BDC-central gateway module
Repair consist of updating software on BDC (body) module to at least 2019 I think 3rd month

I have exactly the same problem.
How to update the software on BDC module.

If you don't want to go to dealer, you'll need to acquire an iCOM kit, a 13+volt DC power supply, and run ISTA+P on your own to update the software. This may be too expensive to do and difficulty level can be high if you're not already familiar with the software and all.
Other older legacy software may work through an Esys cable, but I haven't any experience with those.
