Brake frustration on 2015 cooper S

I don't know if I posted my original post in the right area, but I have an issue fitting EBC yellowstuffs to the mini. Here's the thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...lp-needed.html

Can anyone help? I'm sort of desperate, posting all over the web on different Mini forums.

This isn't going to help you now, but buying from a vendor who knows these cars & works on them will be far less painful than your Amazon experience. I'd try Detroit Tuned or Helix. I've used both & they are great people to work with honest, fair & knowledgeable.

AMAZON 's database is pretty useless when it comes to mini's....
They get the model changes and options all screwed up....
Unless you know EXACTLY whicj item to order, it is best to avoid them for car parts. There are some better options....the vendors that support the site are pretty darn good, as are a few larger plCes with good data vases, like rockauto

I wish everyone understood that.

Just so everyone is aware. The issue wasn't so much with Amazon, it's more that NO good aftermarket pads exist for the Gen 3 yet. I spoke directly with EBC, Carbotech and Hawk. None of them are anywhere near having a product ready. Right now I'm just going to throw the stock pads back in and replace the stock fluid with rbf 600. Hopefully the pedal won't be at the floor by lap 3!

If you keep the back plate, or buy a spare set....the old material can be removed, and companies will attach a track grade material.....I know another driver was looking for gen3 parts to send to Carbo-tech who said they would be happy to fab them up.
Just one option...I'd bet that within a few months the aftermarket will step up...
