Un-level Headlights

I have a new (10,000 miles) Paceman. I have noticed that my headlights are not level. It’s not really bad but just enough to bother me when it’s really dark and I can see them shining on the trees. While getting my oil changed, the local Mini service tech told me that nothing could be done to fix it. He stated that he has driven many if not all Mini models and that is very common in EVERY one he has ever driven. I find it hard to believe that I spent over $30.000 for a car and the headlights are not level. Anyone have any suggestions?

They are factory aimed so the passenger side is aimed SLIGHTLY higher than the drivers side...think that is what you are referring too...the difference in "cutoff" from one side to the other...
My 2005 xenon headlights were delivered this way....consider it to be a safety feature...less light getting shined into oncomming traffic...

Ditto - My 2013 Clubman has this, I see it when I pull up against a building.

Thank you!

Yes, that is exact what I see. Thank you both so much. Now it won’t bother me because I understand the logic. I’m an Emergency room nurse so I’m all about safety.

+1 normal . Its the pattern for the US cutoff and level.

Also the MINI Paceman ( Gen 2 ) Forum is right here. Enjoy your new Paceman and post up some pics.
