F54 Need Help, Coilovers and DDC. What are my options?
I have a 2018 Clubman S thats equipped with DDC. After completing the power mods (at least for now) its time to move onto suspension. The car would look so much better lowered but I also want to improve handling, hints why iam looking at coilovers.
From my research, it seems only one company sells DDC compatible coilovers and thats KW. Nice but a little pricey for me. Do I have any other options? Talking to Ceika, they said they could make a set to those specs but I dont know much about that company.
It seems that the only thing that makes it DDC compatible is the size of the opening for the shock in the rear. The non DDC car is a 10mm opening and DDC is 12mm to allow room for the wiring. Could I convert the car by replacing rear shock mounts with
non DDC parts, and run any coilovers? I read that F56 Coopers can but couldnt find anything about the Clubmans.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
