Brake Wear Service Warning Sensor RESET

Thanks to the stay home advisory, I finally have time to work on the Clubman. During SARS outbreak, I was a high school student in Hong Kong, and of course, I carried on the normal life as a teenager. Now, its different with a 2yrs old. Hope everybody stay safe!

So I purchased my clubman used, just under 20K, and the rotors are corroded on both from and rear... I cannot believe how bad the factory parts are... So I purchased the usual brand of replacement rotor and Akebono pads that come with a new wear sensor.
After -1900mi, I finally decided to change the brake pads, of course, there is plenty of life left on the pads. The whole process was pretty straight forward, other than I could not loosen the pad bracket, well the rotor went in just fine without removing that.
Anyway, job is done, time to reset the warning light. There are youtube videos and post showing you how to reset it, and some success some not. I was one of the unsuccessful one. I recheck the wiring and location of the sensor, everything is find to me, but yet still not resetting.
Until I see this page from minimania - https://new.minimania.com/Resetting_..._Service_Light
On the comment section, it say TURN OFF your parking brakes before resetting, and sure you not, it works....

I just wanted to document this here, so nobody need to get through what I went through.
This should applies to other F series of mins, aint they all have electronic parking brakes?
