I know this is the most hated question on all car forums, tire sizes, gets asked all the time, but surprisingly I don't see anything in this F54 Forum about this question. I have searched thoroughly..
Can I run 235/45/17 on my 17's and 235/35/19 on my 526 JCW Wheels without any rubbing or trimming ? I know it's 1/2" more diameter, 25.5" vs. 25" standard for a 225/45/17 or 225/35/19., right now it looks very close to the strut with a 225 width, mine came with the 19" wheels and there are a few more options for All-Season tires in the 235 width and I think it will fill the wheel well a little more.
Ideally I'd like to go with a 225/40/19 but this is a 1" difference, actually 26.1" Diameter, and would probably cause some rubbing ?
Can't tell if this one is has been lowered at all or any other mods to fit, but the 235's look nice on here. http://www.permaisuri.com/portfolio/...ni-Clubman-F54
Summer Bridgestone Potenza S001 tires, 225/35/19, not the best for Denver (I bought it 2 weeks ago from a dealer in Seattle), will use them thru next Fall then switch to All-Season or get a dedicated snow tire on 17" wheels
My JCW launch edition clubbie came with 235/35/19 summer tires so I think you should be ok. You can always get a 5mm spacer if there is still an issue.
Got the 235/35/19 Tires today, Continental ExtremeContact DWS06, the ride feels a bit better with non-runflats, the 1/2" larger diameter over the stock size does fill in the wheel well a little more but not really that noticeable.
