https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.nor...7c8519521b.jpg I received adapters really fast from Maaii and made the installation today. It was quite easy to do, even this was my first mod to any car ever :) One tricky part was to figure out connectors and make changes there. Changing tail lights was quite easy step and using Bimmercode took for a while. But finally everything works fine! Next step is to replace Clubman logo with piano black version. |

I actually bought a set of a clubman owner from fb with your loop. can I just ask if I can use the vgate i car pro dongle and iPhone bimmercode to code the car? should I code the car before installing the light? Or install the light first? thanks! |
Hello Ken
You can use bimmercode to code this UJ taillights. But you need to code it one by one. Many items need to code. |

As Maaii mentioned earlier, there are quite many settings what need to be changed. But if you have that information, it's quite easy to do with this application. |

Yes, I used the bimmercode app. I had also VeePeak OBDCheck BLE OBD Bluetooth adapter (with Android phone).

thanks! I do have those instructions printed out. But thinking if I should code the car than fit the light or fit the light then code it 😂
1) wiring modifications (to the connectors what can be found from A-pillar) 2) change tail lights 3) tested that lights works correctly (I got of course couple of warnings) 4) coding the car with bimmercode 5) tested that lights still works and there is no warnings anymore |

with regards to the coding on bimmercode. Do I have code every line individually?!
Settings can be found from menus: 3064, 3065 for the light mapping 3061 for all the others Information above was found earlier from this thread, thanks for that information to the sender. |
Hi Maaii,
I was reading your posts about retrofitting the unionjack tail lights to F54, I have the same issue as the rest of us - wiring. Is it still possible to buy the wiring from you? If yes, please let me know. |

Problem solve. I made two adapter cables to retrofit UJ Tail Lights. It's so easy to do.
After coding, no error message pop up. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.nor...e4632e6d0f.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.nor...325a6636c7.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.nor...4476b0b786.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.nor...297c5b1df2.jpg |
Hello
I wrote a install guide to retrofit UJ taillight, it's very easy to install. You need to know not only how to code your car by using esys or bimmercode but also need to swap ECU pins on BDC ECU side. For LED headlight, you can check the thread https://www.minif56.com/threads/f56-...93/post-832511

What about, when you open the doors, do the lights in the bumper then still go on? this is a safety feature so the car is still visible when the doors are open. Does it still work after this mod?
Can anyone tell me which mapping i need to change to turn on rear fog lights with door opened? Because they are at bumper now... They are not coming on after Union Jack retrofit :( Thanks!! |

Or, also up near the top, on the right, you should see "Welcome, Edward Jeong". Two lines below that, you should see the link Private Messages (in blue, underlined). |
