Hello.I ve just ordered a Clubman sd (manufactured in 2017 but anused) and as i don t like the color of the mirror caps i ordered from the ebay some others (union jack) but the seller asks me if they have a little hole on the passenger s side or not(cause there are 2 models).As i ll receive the car in 3 weeks i can not check if there is a hole to my car s mirror or not.Do you know when that hole exists?
i dint have any holes like these in my previous mini(countryman s all4 2010).

 

Starting in MY 2016, the caps are manufacturered such that this hole can be cut out to accommodate cars with the logo projector "puddle lamp" mounted in the mirror. The caps don't come with the holes, but it's easy to punch out. A brand new cap won't have the hole.

 

I am pretty sure most F54 Clubby's have a single mirror projector light...at least mine has the driver's side (LH side) with it. I now run the Mini checkered mirror caps and the checkered covers didn't have the hole in the outer surface, but the inner liner/housing did, so all I had to do was trim out the hole with an exacto knife, pretty easy.
