Repair Suggestion

Just want to see how you guys will repair this. slightly hit a light post by accident when i was backing out. The wheel arch cover i can get it replaced. The hood there is a slight scratch and there's a dent. the paint where the dent is has not come off so i am thinking to just do a paintless dent repair and use a touch up pen to fix it?

the garage i dealt with for body work told me i have to repaint the whole hood but the problem is i have a 3M partial hood protection on. so i will have to reapply that if i need to get it fix.

Your PDR and touch up paint will be relatively inexpensive, so I'd try that and see if you are happy with it. The PDR work I had done is completely undetectable and I know where the issues were.

Not if you do it right and then put the clear coat touch up over it. You might be able to find a PDR who can do the touch up as well.
