F54 Flash drive directory tree

I know the 2nd gen MINI system had the rule of 32. It could only read 32 directories and only 32 files within those folders.
The newer MINIs are more sophisticated, but I'm not sure if any such limit still exists. I have a USB drive on my F55 with 12k+ songs all sorted by artist and album and haven't run into any such limitations yet...

Thanks for the input guys. I have a couple of NTFS formatted thumbdrives that play without issue in my R59 while my F54 only sees about a third of the folders and then subfolders. Looks like the firmware in the Gen 2 cars is more mature after all. I will try to move the files to a FAT32 drive and see if that helps.
Update: Converted the thumb drive to FAT32 and it did the trick. NBT EVO has trouble reading NTFS.
